The automatic infectiousness of KIN by CHĪMA and Dmo Jones is incredibly surprising. Their cadence, lyricism, and the beat itself amalgamate into a product that is so easily digestible.
Their usage of the word, “kin” is truly interesting. The song is in essence contradicting people’s view of them being close to CHĪMA and Dmo when that’s not the case. You are not equal to them, and it would be quite easy for them to handle you in any given situation.
Their sonic approach to the track would be comparable if Young M.A. and Lil Baby collaborated on a song. It’s an automatic hit, very adaptable for radio, or even something I can hear playing on various tv shows (P-Valley, Hush, or All The Queens Men.)
Kin is truly enjoyable, and it is one of those tracks that make you feel like the star of the show when you listen to it. You’re truly incomparable and no one can check you. I highly recommend this song for everyone’s playlists. It has high replay value and is truly a great introduction to both artists.
