Hip-Hop heavyweight and veteran, Missy Elliott makes history by becoming the first female rapper to be nominated for a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
This year’s list comprises some exceptional musicians of the 80s ad 90s. The nominees include:

- Kate Bush
- Sheryl Crow
- Iron Maiden
- Joy Division
- George Michael
- Willie Nelson
- Sound Garden
- The White Stripes
Missy Elliot elated at the news, took to Twitter and said,
