She’s a New York-based artist whose sound I would say is currently unique to both Rap and R&B musical landscapes. Interestingly enough, I can feel the vibes of Doja Cat and Willow Smith throughout the EP.
Her songs ‘Ash & Dust’ and “Trippin, Trippin, Trippin’’ serve as singles for this Juvenilia project. They were great choices for taste testers and gave summaries for the project. ‘STOP PLAYIN’ is my favorite track on her EP and I find myself replaying it consistently throughout the day.
The project is painted with tones of introspection, raw self-expression, vulnerability, and mental health and succeeded in introducing the audience to who LUCI is as an artist. ‘Am I Good’ is another song that should be a staple in everyone’s playlists, especially if you’re looking for impactful music.
LUCI’s talent, creativity, and artistry are on full display with this EP. Many songs can easily be featured on various popular shows and radio. I feel like time flies while playing this EP, and that’s always a good thing. There’s a song for everyone and the lyricism within each track paints pictures when listening to each song. I highly recommend everyone stream and buy this EP.
