During this past week, Hitmaka, formerly known as Yung Berg got a rise out of Twitter with his tweet.
“Can’t wait to work with a pretty female rapper that’s strictly about bars to even the playing field. P**sy rap was cool when it had shock value and was rare. Now it’s like every girl taking it there. It’s some who aren’t but they need a hit producer for impact,” he said.
A few female rappers, Asian Doll and Baby Tate shared a few words in response. But Baby Tate did that and more. On Dec 21st, she released a track titled Pu$$y R@pp3r. Her shot at Hitmaka went this way,
“First of all
I ain’t even really tryna get too personal
But half these lil’ rap niggas can’t rap unless they got a Perk involved
They just jerkin’ off in a circle talkin’ ’bout female rap, who hurtin’ y’all?
You probably couldn’t pull a bitch, even if the bitch was a service dog“
This typical Hip-Hop response on a confrontational beat was Baby Tate’s intent. She further explained on Twitter that the song isn’t a play at beef but simply giving Hitmaka what he “wants” to hear.
“As I said, it’s no beef! The call was for a ‘pretty female rapper strictly about bars’ and instead of being a d**k rider and a pick me, I decided to bar Mr. Hitmaka up,” she tweeted.
