South Africa’s OG rapper, AKA, finally announces the release date for his upcoming album Mass Country. It has been 5 years since the release of Touch My Blood — a perfectly constructed project with an endless lineup of hits like Amen with L-Tido, Fela In Versace, and Jika. His most recent offering Bhovamania released in 2020, was a turning point in his career, and a testament to where he is as an artist—free to explore different sounds and fans indulging in his artistic process.
With rising anticipation for Mass Country, fans wonder what direction the album will take, and some are eager to be surprised. Late last year in September, he released Lemons (Lemonade) featuring Nasty C— another force in the South African Hip-Hop scene. The single instantly resonated with hip-hop lovers worldwide and is still demolishing charts in 2023.
