Just ten weeks after that tryout, Allyson was racing at the California State Finals. Fluent in Spanish, Lopez is widely recognized in Latino communities throughout Southern California. This research led to her working as an Internal Evaluation Consultant for one of the nations largest after-school programs, Los Angeless Better Educated Students for Tomorrow (LAs BEST) where she initiated an evaluation infrastructure to facilitate continuous quality improvement.
