Jai Nanda is the Founder and Executive Director of the Urban Dove, a non-profit organization that provides positive, educational programs to New York Citys at-risk youth. Over the course of her career, Lopez has been recognized with several industry awards, including two New York area Emmy Awards for Best Sports Feature and Best Live Sports Coverage. She also was praised by New Yorks largest Spanish language daily newspaper, El Diario La Prensa, as one of the most outstanding women in the community. Additionally, she served as an entertainment/lifestyle reporter doing features for The Insider, Hollywood 411 and Starz Entertainment. Just ten weeks after that tryout, Allyson was racing at the California State Finals. Fluent in Spanish, Lopez is widely recognized in Latino communities throughout Southern California. This research led to her working as an Internal Evaluation Consultant for one of the nations largest after-school programs, Los Angeless Better Educated Students for Tomorrow (LAs BEST) where she initiated an evaluation infrastructure to facilitate continuous quality improvement. Sarah has a knack for putting the needs of others in front of her own desires, which guides her in wanting to have a career in Public Service.
