Bleu joins a list of artists who can mark working with Nicki Minaj off their bucket list. Back in 2021, the singer professed his love for the rap queen. It was also at that time that he started preparing after manifesting publicly.
“@NICKIMINAJ I f*ck with u… I’m not just saying this cuz we should do a song… even tho we should lol.”

If you need any further proof that manifestation works, pay attention to Bleu’s story. It only took him a year of speaking it into existence and preparing music for Nicki to announce their collab this year.
On August 5th Nicki teased fans about a possible track she completed with Bleu. Fast forward to September 16th, the R&B track ‘Love In The Way’ has officially been released with both Bleu and Nicki serving as lead artists on the track.
Both artists perfectly mirror each other lyrically in the song. Bleu sings about an unstable yet strong sense of love in his life. The difficulty of loving someone and how difficult it would be to move on because of how impactful that love he shared with his partner is.
“It hurts to love again and it’s all because of you…”
Nicki opens the song by giving us a female’s point of view of a failed relationship due to infidelity. He ruined the relationship and although he was aware of its condition; he didn’t put effort into fixing it.
“All because you too busy talkin’ no listenin’
You too busy doin’ the talkin’ no listenin’ (All because of you)”
The song is a very refreshing addition to Nicki’s 2022 music catalogue. It’s reminiscent of both Pink Friday and the Roman Reloaded album eras. The subject matter of the song stands out among the music released this year for mainstream Rap and R&B genres.
The song has a strong replay value; it paints a beautiful picture lyrically and sonically entrances the listeners. It shares two perspectives on love and relationships during their tough times. Bleu’s lyricism and melodic voice must be commended. The song earns a rating of 5/5 stars due to it being pure ear candy and a perfect display of their individual talents.
