London Hilll has released a hot new single ‘Who’ and we’re loving it. The groovy track is exactly the fresh sound the rap scene needs. With all the over-processed music that is currently released, ‘Who‘ is corking and a tad bit nostalgic.
The brazen rapper kicks off as the beat drops, her delivery is intact from the get-go. The hook breaks the ice in the song, and it’s catchy with these lyrics,
“Who think they getting in my spot like, WHO!
These b*tches really ain’t as hot like, WHO!
I like the concept she opted for the ‘Who’ because it intrigued me to find out how she’ll execute it. The hook is noteworthy, teasing, and makes you yearn for what the verse will produce.
My sentiments are accurate. There she goes, diving into the first verse without warning. An immediate juxtaposition transitioning. She says,
“Imma underrated gem, giving it to myself
only pointers for the face, not ears up on a elf”
I have to say this, London Hill is really one of my favorites right now. These first few bars just coerce me into loving her palpable style. I guffawed a bit when she continued,
“When it come up to the Don, all these bitches getting BIAS”
London‘s playfulness and lyricism in this song are euphoric. Because I want more as the song advances to its ending. The first verse is an absolute body blow.
‘Who’ reverts to the nifty hook. She does it again, the subtle transition to the second verse. Now here she is on her Caribbean flow with,
“Dem know seh mi dangerous,
Big matic ah leg of like sprinkler
Nuh body cyan play widd us”
Love love the Caribbean flow addition. Very unexpected, but for the song, it’s a perfect blend. The second verse was really complementary to the entire song. London Hilll is in her bag with this one.
What’s your take on ‘Who’?
