South African model, actress, TV-Host, full-on entertainer, and now a female rapper. Anele Zondo who goes by “Ney” first teased her ‘Ingwe’ track late last year.
Recently, the track resurfaced again on social media and it sounds just as fresh as it did last year. A few days ago, she announced a release date of visuals to the song.
The visualizer interpolates a character from Netflix’s series “Love, Death + Robots.” For a debut video, Ney has upped the ante not only for herself but peers in the South African rap scene.
‘Ingwe’ is raw, unpretentious and just a basic representation of the all-rounder herself. Given Zulu’s contribution complements the song beautifully.
Anele “Ney” Zondo is thriving despite being an independent artist in the game.
One thing I adulate about Anele is she completely reminds us of her roots, and it’s clear in this song. And I believe that’s one quality that will take her really far in this industry.
