She’s Feeling Herself, She’s conceited.
Just a week or so after the release of her club banger, conceited, Flo is just a couple of views away from bagging another ‘milli’. The track’s official video has already brought in 363K views and we are pretty sure the well-choreographed, fun, and edgy TikTok dance challenge it inspired has quite a lot to do with it.
Flo Milli Flows On Conceited
Flo Milli has every right to be conceited. Since the release of her most popular single ‘In The Party’, the world has had its eyes set on her, waiting to see if she’d rise or fall under the pressure. Making a hit is one thing but staying consistent while growing your audience is a whole other story and Flo has been flawlessly raising the bar through every chapter.
The young rapper is also a marketing genius. Instead of an official trailer, she teases her audience with an official trailer which gives her a chance to showcase her humorous side while building hype around her project. She capitalizes on trendy pop culture moments to grab our attention and her bars and flow are always there to take care of the rest.
She referenced VH1’s Flavor Of Love for her ‘I Love Flo Milli’ official video, a title that was inspired by the show’s most notable personality New York who got her own spin-off ‘I Love New York’.
She referenced one of ‘America’s Next Top Model’s most viral moments for her PBC video and her portrayal of Tyra Banks was a serving all on its own.
For Conceited, she again highlighted the influence ‘I Love New York’s Tiffany Pollard had on the culture by channeling her boastful IT girl vibe for the video’s official skit.
This is one of many ways Flo Milli set’s herself apart from her counterparts which is imperative in an industry where creativity and individual style are a requirement.
Flo’s Previous Highlights
The Alabama-born rapper just recently went toe to toe with Houston native, Monaleo on their bad b**** anthem, the ‘We Not Humping (remix)’, a collaboration that warmed the hearts of their many fans who’d been begging the two lyricists to come together and show the industry who the new hitters in town are.
The original track was already great on its own and the only way to make something grand even grander is by adding something or I guess in this case, someone who goes above and beyond every time. Flo did not disappoint and she perfectly matched Leo’s energy. The girls ate.
Conceited is definitely the rapper’s way of telling the world she’s arrived and she’s not going anywhere anytime soon. She knows she’s that girl and she has the confidence and the talent to back it up.
Please, don’t bark, ’cause Milli bite back (grr)
I huff and puff and I blow shit down (ooh)
Stand up bitch, ho, go sit down (sit down)
Her message is loud and clear. She’s standing her ground and she’s not about to let anyone put her down. We stan. Check out conceited and we promise you her flow will leave you feeling like a ‘milli’ yourself.
